A footer is a magical thing, really. It's sort of like the pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow... or this magical land I used to have recurring dreams about as a child, where after the Kool-Aid man burst through the wall with a tray of chilled drinkage, I would sneak over the rubble through the hole to a magical Kool-Aid land that was lush and green and had lot's of candy. Everything in my imagination involved candy when I was a kid.
